Laszlo Moholy Nagy created "Light and Space Modulator", and a video based on it entitled
"Lightplay: black, white, gray" in 1930 and wrote in his book "Vision In Motion" in 1965 that
the ultimate kinetic sculpture would be a virtual structure. This is the MODULATOR V 's
starting point. Laszlo Moholy Nagy was a native of Hungary and taught at the Bauhaus
in the 1920's.
